Ruth has a B.S degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro.  Ruth has completed several executive management courses from Wharton School of Management – University of Pennsylvania and Darden School of Management – University of Virginia.  In her 40-year career with BASF, Ruth has held a variety of roles from sales, product management, marketing and business development for the agricultural, paper and packaging industries. Ruth has held several advisory positions for the National Restaurant Associations Conserve Board, the USDA SCRI, and is a member of the Leadership Team of the Colorado Compost Council.

For the past 10 years, Ruth has led the market and business development activities in introducing BASF’s ecovio® technology into the North American Agriculture and Packaging Markets, engaging the value chain to support technology commercialization.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time hiking, music, serving in her Church and her family.
