
George Askew, Ph.D.

Dr. George Askew has been with Clemson University since 1980, where he currently serves as Vice President for Public Service & Agriculture. He is responsible for the four major units within Clemson’s Public Service Activities program: The SC Agriculture Experiment Station, The Cooperative Extension Service, Regulatory Services and the Livestock & Poultry Health unit.
Dr. Askew studied at Clemson University, where he earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management, Master of Science in Forest Genetics and Ph.D. in Agronomy.
