Developing and Testing Packaging of the Future

A Packaging Science education at Clemson University is built on the philosophy that the best way to engage students in thinking about packaging solutions is to present real-life challenges.

Join faculty and students as they describe their process for exploring packaging concepts for the future through market research, life cycle assessments, and design iterations to meet specific goals.

This session also provides an introduction to Clemson’s ISTA-certified Packaging Dynamics Lab and will show how the lab is leveraged to prepare the next generation of packaging scientists for a rapidly changing distribution environment.
