Chalmers Carr, first generation farmer, is the owner and operator of Titan Farms, grower, packer and processor of peaches and vegetables. Located in Ridge Spring, South Carolina, the farming operation consists of over 6,000 acres of peaches, several hundred acres of vegetables and employs over 800 temporary H-2A workers annually.

Chalmers served as Chairman of the USDA Fruit and Vegetable Advisory Committee, served on the USDA National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, & Economics Advisory Board and is President of USA Farmers, a national organization representing H-2A employers. Over the years he has also served on other various committees and won several awards including past President of the National Peach Council, Farm Journal’s Top Producer of the Year in 2017, and 2015 Bayer CropScience Produce Innovation Award Winner.

Chalmers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Clemson University and has been married to his wife Lori Anne for 30 years. They have two adult children.
