Ashley has been involved with his family business for over thirty years. As a child, Ashley spent summer breaks working in the field alongside other family members, in a business started by his grandparents in 1925. After earning a degree in Agriculture Economics from Clemson University in 1996, Ashley joined the family business full-time.

During his tenure with the company, Ashley has seen the business grow from what was primarily a peach cannery operation to a major grower/processor/shipper of quality fresh vegetables. Promoted to Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Product Development in 2015, Ashley continues to be instrumental in the progression of the company. As the industry evolved, so did WP Rawl – supplying not only bulk vegetables to major retailers and food service distributors, but also supplying lines of valued-added bagged greens and other vegetables.

Ashley and his wife, Kelly live in Lexington, South Carolina with their two daughters, Chloe age 21 and Meryn age 19.
